Colombo (Javier Gutiérrez) treballa en un garatge 24h i complementa el seu miserable sou trapicant amb marihuana. Mario (Luis Zahera), un paio peculiar i aficionat a les aus, que apareix inesperadament al garatge, el contracta de xofer per anar a la Costa Brava a veure grues. Però en arribar al seu destí, li explica que les aus han variat el rumb migratori cap al delta del Danubi, a Romania. Mario necessita arribar-hi. I Colombo necessita els diners. Colombo (Javier Gutiérrez) trabaja en un garaje 24h y complementa su mísero sueldo trapicheando con marihuana. Mario (Luis Zahera), un tipo peculiar y aficionado a las aves, que aparece inesperadamente en el garaje, lo contrata de chófer para ir a la Costa Brava a ver grullas. Pero al llegar a su destino, le cuenta que las aves han variado su rumbo migratorio hacia el delta del Danubio, en Rumanía. Mario necesita llegar hasta allí. Y Colombo necesita el dinero. Colombo works at a 24-hour parking lot and tops up his measly wages by selling weed. Mario is a lawyer and a keen birdwatcher, but unfortunately for him, he is unable to drive due to a past accident. Mario offers to pay Colombo to drive him from Valencia to a lake in the Costa Brava (Spain), where he wants to see some cranes. When they reach the lake, the lawyer tells him that the birds have changed their migratory route and are now going to nest in the Danube delta in Constanza (Romania). Mario needs to get there and Colombo needs the money. Neither of them is aware of the other´s story, but at that moment, a new and definitive journey starts for both of them.
